About the Role
We are seeking a Salesforce Consultant to work with payer clients across the full implementation lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and delivery for projects including but not limited to Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud. You will serve as a subject matter expert helping to guide client teams as they navigate Salesforce implementations and optimization efforts.
What You'll Do
- Gather and translate payer business requirements into Salesforce solutions
- Design and configure using standard platform capabilities first, flagging technical debt risks and knowing when custom development is warranted
- Lead client-facing working sessions, workshops, and demos
- Document Salesforce solutions clearly and thoroughly
- Partner with client to ensure seamless workflows across related third-party applications
- Mentor and coach client analysts to develop Salesforce knowledge
- Serve as a subject matter expert for client operations teams, drawing on prior experience and analysis of current workflows to provide best practice recommendations
- Build and maintain project tools and templates
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years hands-on Salesforce implementation experience
- Minimum of 3 active Salesforce Certifications, Platform Administrator must be one of them. Health Cloud Accredited Professional highly preferred
- Healthcare domain experience - payer preferred (member management, care coordination, provider relations)
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable owning your work independently in a lean, fast-moving consulting team
- Ability to scope and negotiate implementation work according to budget and timeline
- Comfort making configuration decisions quickly with incomplete information
- Strong communicator who can translate between technical teams and health plan business stakeholders
- Curious about AI and eager to apply emerging tools to real healthcare operations challenges
