Salesforce Configuration Developer

Responsibilities

• Configure Salesforce using declarative tools, including Flows, validation rules, approval processes, page layouts, record types, and automation features.
• Implement and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, and security configurations.
• Support implementation of Salesforce enhancements, fixes, and configuration changes based on documented and approved requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project coordination resources, and Salesforce architects to implement requested Salesforce functionality.
• Support testing activities, including unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of configuration changes.
• Aid in deployment of Salesforce configuration changes using agency-approved tools and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce configuration and functional issues as needed.
• Maintain documentation related to Salesforce configuration, changes, and implemented functionality.
• Support ongoing Salesforce platform administration activities as requested.
• Perform general Salesforce configuration and declarative development services to support effective Salesforce service delivery.

Requirements

• 5 years of professional experience configuring and supporting Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms in a production environment.
• 4 years of experience using Salesforce declarative tools, including Flows, validation rules, approval processes, record types, and page layouts.
• 4 years of experience implementing and maintaining Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, and security configurations.
• 3 years of experience supporting Salesforce enhancements, fixes, and configuration changes based on documented business requirements.
• 3 years of experience collaborating with business stakeholders and technical resources to implement Salesforce functionality.
• 2 years of experience supporting testing activities, including unit testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), for Salesforce changes.
• 2 years of preferred experience supporting Salesforce deployments and change management using structured release or deployment processes.
• 2 years of preferred experience troubleshooting Salesforce configuration and functional issues in a live production environment.
• 2 years of preferred experience supporting Salesforce administration activities, including user management and permissions.
• 1 year of preferred experience working with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• 1 year of preferred experience supporting Salesforce solutions in a government or public-sector environment.
