About the role
Machine Learning Technologies LLC is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and declarative tools like flows, validation rules, and business process automation. Responsibilities include requirement gathering, process improvement, solution design, project management, stakeholder communication, testing, deployment support, and data reporting.
Responsibilities
- Elicitate and document business needs from stakeholders through workshops and meetings
- Analyze current processes, identify gaps, and design future-state solutions within Salesforce
- Translate requirements into user stories, process flows, data models, and technical specifications, often configuring declarative features like workflows, flows, and fields
- Manage the product roadmap, backlog refinement, and scope for Salesforce projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Serve as a liaison between business users, sales, service, marketing, and developers/admins, presenting solutions and progress
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure business readiness for new releases
- Analyze data to provide insights, build reports, and manage data integrity
- Prepare typical deliverables such as user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, As-Is/To-Be Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), data models, technical specifications, test scripts, and training materials
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Salesforce Platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and declarative tools like flows, validation rules, and business process automation
- Knowledge of integration, data migration, and system architecture
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, both technical and nontechnical
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Salesforce Business Analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Knowledge of Salesforce Platform
- Understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and declarative tools
- Experience with workflows, flows, and fields
