About the role
Join a delivery team of six focused on leveraging Salesforce capabilities to innovate while retiring legacy systems. This role supports a multi-phase transformational project to unify IDEXX’s Veterinary Software CRM experience within the enterprise Salesforce instance.
Responsibilities
- Perform Salesforce administrator functions including maintenance/updates, system backups, security, roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, custom reports, dashboards, and groups.
- Develop, implement, and support enterprise custom and packaged applications and other internal software programs used by end users.
- Perform systems-related analytical activities to support application functionality, availability, and performance.
- Analyze, understand, and translate business needs into technical configurations that guide administrators and developers.
- Configure Salesforce to satisfy business requirements.
- Provide daily system/application administration, including backup/recovery, patching, access, and security management.
- Monitor and proactively support system/application capacity planning and stability.
- Assess technical requirements of requests, scope projects, and communicate results to business clients, project teams, and IT counterparts.
Requirements
- 3 to 5+ years of experience performing Salesforce administrator functions and working with Salesforce build tools (e.g., Salesforce DX, GitHub, GitHub Actions).
- Salesforce configuration experience.
- Experience with Sales Cloud CPQ and Subscription Management is a plus.
- Service Cloud and Experience Cloud experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to translate technical subject matter to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and exceptional customer service and business relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and within teams.
Location
Preferred: within driving distance to corporate HQ in Westbrook, Maine, with a minimum of 8 on-site visits per month (hybrid). Open to candidates in the New England area (NH and MA) who are available for occasional on-site visits.
Pay
Base annual salary target: $90,000 – $100,000+ (flexible based on experience).
