Salesforce Administrator
Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President of CRM Operations, this position provides administrative support for the College’s Salesforce platform and supports technologies that integrate with Salesforce, aligning with the College’s vision, mission, and strategic priorities.
Responsibilities
- Support a multi-org Salesforce CRM environment utilizing Education Architecture (EDA and/or Education Cloud) and Sales Cloud technologies.
- Handle administrative functions, including user account maintenance, activities and events, chatter, dashboards, workflows, data structures, integrations, and other tasks.
- Work with the institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administration, development, and change management activities.
- Complete regular internal system audits to ensure security and business compliance.
- Evaluate new releases of Salesforce CRM to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users.
- Support Salesforce CRM data feeds and other integrations and maintain all technological resources associated with the end user.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards in Salesforce CRM for extracting insights from data to advance business key performance indicators.
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new administrative requests.
- Serve as the translator connecting application developers, businesspeople, and users.
- Determine and document business user requirements.
- Identify best practices in the use of Salesforce CRM and disseminate them.
- Assist in the design of training materials to grow the Salesforce CRM skill set.
- Provide onboarding training for new users to support quicker participation in Salesforce CRM-related processes.
Supervision received: Assistant Vice President of CRM Operations. Supervision given: None.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Salesforce CRM administrator education or equivalent experience is required.
- Experience with DevOps release management.
- Understanding of Agile and delivery and project management frameworks, methodologies, and practices.
- Familiarity with Higher Education Data Architecture, Education Cloud, and Agentforce Education is preferred.
- Salesforce Platform Administrator certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while effectively managing and prioritizing multiple requests with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
- Demonstrated creative and analytical thinking with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including active listening skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that reflects the diversity of students and employees and ensures all individuals feel respected and valued.
This is a hybrid position requiring some time worked from the physical campus work location in Indianapolis, IN. Only candidates who will reside in and work from the states of Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio will be considered.

Pay
$70,000-80,000
