About the role

The IT team at IDEXX is seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator to contribute to the development of our enterprise CRM capabilities. This role involves developing, implementing, and supporting custom and packaged applications, performing systems analysis, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, understand, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions focusing on user experience.
  • Design, configure, test, debug, and document programs based on technical configurations.
  • Provide daily system/application administration.
  • Manage access and security of systems and applications, and monitor system/application capacity planning and stability.
  • Assess technical requirements of requests and scope for projects, communicating results and estimates to business stakeholders, project teams, and IT counterparts.
  • Serve on systems development/upgrade/enhancement project teams as a technical liaison between business clients, IT infrastructure, and development groups.
  • Develop strong business relationships with assigned business clients and related departments and vendors to ensure successful system and application implementations and support.
  • Follow Internal Audit policies and procedures and provide information as needed.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of related Salesforce Administration experience.
  • Experience with Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, territory management, and reports.
  • Experience using development/integration/deployment-related and associated tools (Data Loader, Workbench, Force.com, ANT, IDE/VSCode, Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, SFDX).
  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge with experience in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Mobile Design.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex and highly-integrated Salesforce implementation.
  • Great people skills and communication skills, including excellent customer service and business relationship building abilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and within teams.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Must have Salesforce Certified Administrator certification.
  • Preferred additional certifications include Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
  • Experience with writing test classes and basic understanding of Salesforce development landscape including Apex and Lightning Web Components.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Salesforce Maps, Tableau CRM, and CPQ.
