About the role
Sell and service a variety of insurance products, meet sales and retention targets, and align with organizational goals. Consult with clients to explain policies, analyze needs, and recommend solutions. Prospect for new customers and engage in community activities to promote GFB and GFBMIC.
Responsibilities
- Sell and service a wide range of insurance products including farm, crop, auto, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental
- Meet quarterly sales and retention goals
- Adhere to strategic and service goals as outlined in the agency’s business plans
- Consult with clients to explain policies, analyze coverage needs, and recommend solutions
- Possess valid Georgia driver’s license and pass Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams
- Engage in continuous professional development and product training
- Foster strong relationships between county offices and the home office
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Some college education preferred
- Valid Georgia driver’s license
- Passed Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams
- Actively pursuing licensure through the Georgia Department of Insurance
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Self-motivated, community-minded, and eager to grow
