Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance offers insurance tailored to support Georgia's agriculture industry and communities. This position involves selling and servicing various insurance products, meeting sales and retention goals, and engaging with clients to provide personalized solutions.
Responsibilities
- Sell and service a wide range of insurance products including farm, crop, auto, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental.
- Adhere to strategic and service goals as outlined in the agency’s business plans.
- Consult with clients to explain policies, analyze coverage needs, and recommend solutions.
- Prospect new customers and grow membership through community networking.
- Ensure all policy documentation and service requirements are completed accurately.
- Inspect properties to assess risk and recommend corrective actions.
- Promote Georgia Farm Bureau and GFBMIC through local advertising and active community involvement.
- Engage in continuous professional development and product training.
- Foster strong relationships between county offices and the home office.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
- Valid Georgia driver’s license.
- Passed Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams (License Required).
- Actively pursuing licensure through the Georgia Department of Insurance.
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
- Self-motivated, community-minded, and eager to grow.
