Sales Trainee

Red Bull Distribution Company · North Kingstown, RI · 1 wk ago
On-siteFull-time

About the Role

This is a training role designed to prepare the Sales Trainee for the Account Sales Manager (ASM) position. The Sales Trainee primarily supports sales initiatives and provides route coverage for the ASM during vacations, sickness, injury, or special projects. The role involves working with management to maintain customer relationships across sales, merchandising, and operations for all large and small format “off-premise” stores. The Sales Trainee must service all customers in a safe, productive, and professional manner while complying with Red Bull executional standards.

Training and Career Progression

The Sales Trainee (ST) role is a training position. Upon successful completion of the training program, the ST is eligible to interview for open Account Sales Manager (ASM) roles. If no ASM or qualified role is available after certification and the ST meets performance standards, they may remain in the ST role for up to 12 months or until an ASM or other qualified role becomes available (whichever comes first). Once a role is available, the certified ST must interview for it. If promotion does not occur before the 12-month period expires, the ST role will end unless an exception applies. Exceptions may extend the 12-month period by an additional 6 months for high-performing trainees with no open roles. This is an at-will position, meaning either the company or the employee may terminate the employment relationship at any time.
