Sales Trainee

About the role

Subaru of Spokane is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Trainee to join their growing team. This entry-level, training-focused role supports the Sales department while developing essential skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers during the vehicle shopping process
• Learning Subaru product features, technology, and benefits
• Supporting Sales Consultants with test drives, paperwork, and follow-ups
• Maintaining showroom and vehicle presentation standards
• Participating in sales training, role-playing, and mentorship programs
• Learning dealership systems, CRM tools, and sales processes
• Delivering exceptional customer experiences aligned with Subaru’s values

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and be coached
• Customer-first mindset and professional demeanor
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Interest in sales, customer service, or the automotive industry
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Qualifications

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position is $28-$35. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.

Schedule

May include evenings and weekends. Exact schedule to be discussed at interview.
