About the Role

We are seeking a project manager who drives the engine between Sales and the Operations Technology team. You own a portfolio of concurrent projects of varying size and complexity, keeping each one on schedule and keeping stakeholders confidently in the loop. You’ll run projects end-to-end covering three key components: sales enablement, operational efficiency, and platform projects. From the beginning, you’ll build trust with stakeholders, create tighter delivery, clearer plans, and have fewer surprises. This role entails building and running trackers, dashboards, and intake workflows in Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and run projects end-to-end — from intake through delivery. Build the project plan, line up the people, assign the work, and drive it to completion.
  • Turn requirements into a plan — take what the business needs and what the company is trying to do and merge them into one actionable plan for the delivery and technical teams.
  • Stay ahead of risk — monitor progress, spot problems early, and implement fixes before they escalate.
  • Keep stakeholders, clients, and vendors informed — provide updates, raise issues as needed, and drive them to resolution.
  • Manage scope and schedule changes cleanly — use a formal change process to maintain transparency in timelines and plans.
  • Measure project health — track and report delivery metrics in Smartsheet.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation — ensure project records, plans, and statuses are accessible to all.
  • Uphold standards — ensure projects align with company policies and team project standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience in IT or the insurance industry.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Smartsheet and Microsoft Office (Office 365), including building trackers, dashboards, Gantt, and Kanban views.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience managing projects through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from early development to implementation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to juggle multiple projects without oversight.
  • Problem-solving skills with adaptability to shifting requirements mid-project.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience — PMP or CAPM certification is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in contact center, sales-technology, or regulated industries (e.g., insurance operations).
  • Working knowledge of platforms used by the team (ticketing, CRM, telephony) to run cross-functional projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Skills & Attributes

  • Collaborative mindset — how you work with people matters as much as what you know.
  • Curiosity to understand the work before planning it.
  • Empathy for delivery teams and stakeholders.
  • Confidence in giving and receiving feedback.
  • Flexibility when priorities shift.
  • Resilience, calmness, and a good-humored attitude under pressure.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plan options for employees (and their families) working 30+ hours weekly.
  • Basic and Supplemental Life Insurance.
  • Short- and Long-Term Disability coverage.
  • Immediate access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and wellness programs for all employees, regardless of hours worked.
  • 401K plan with company matching contributions.
