About the role

Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge GIS projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the advancement of geographic information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS platform
  • Collaborate with project managers, data analysts, and other developers to design and implement GIS solutions
  • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS software
  • Support the testing and deployment of GIS applications
  • Provide technical guidance and support to users

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience in GIS development or related field
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript and Python
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Experience with geospatial data analysis and visualization
  • Knowledge of database management systems
  • Understanding of GIS concepts and principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
