Sales Tax Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities

• Review of monthly sales & use tax returns for states and cities
• Research and consult on various sales tax matters
• Direct and manage sales & use tax audits across multiple jurisdictions
• Oversee maintenance of tax exemptions

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting
• Supervisory experience
• Three or more years experience in multi-state sales and use tax
• Experience filing multistate sales & use tax returns
• Experience coordinating sales & use tax audits
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to deal effectively with staff, management, outside consultants, and taxing authorities
• Ability to work well with cross-functional teams within the company
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and possess a strong sense of urgency in meeting government filing deadlines
