Sales Support Representative - Fire & Fabrication
About the role
Ferguson is seeking Sales Support Representatives to support the Fire & Fabrication customer group. This role involves working with Sales associates to support customer needs, providing personalized customer service, coordinating deliveries, and answering sales calls.
Responsibilities
- Support the Fire & Fabrication customer group by determining the best products and solutions for customer needs.
- Ensure timely quotations and accurate sales orders through personalized customer service.
- Coordinate deliveries on behalf of customers.
- Answer sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions.
- Effectively use customer relationship management (CRM) system and phone system.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience in fire protection, plumbing, or other trades is a plus.
- Exhibit strong skills for sales, including the ability to upsell.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and making decisions in a timely manner.
- Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment and follow through on commitments.
- Highly motivated and customer service oriented mentality with ability to build relationships.
- General digital literacy including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes.
