Sales Support Representative - Fire & Fabrication

About the role

Ferguson is seeking Sales Support Representatives to support the Fire & Fabrication customer group. This role involves working with Sales associates to support customer needs, providing personalized customer service, coordinating deliveries, and answering sales calls.

Responsibilities

• Support the Fire & Fabrication customer group by determining the best products and solutions for customers.
• Ensure timely quotations and accurate sales orders are delivered through personalized customer service.
• Coordinate deliveries on behalf of customers.
• Answer sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions.
• Effectively use customer relationship management (CRM) system and phone system.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in fire protection, plumbing, or other trades is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong sales skills, including the ability to upsell.
• Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and making timely decisions.
• Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment and follow through on commitments.
• Highly motivated and customer service-oriented mentality with the ability to build relationships.
• General digital literacy including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes.
