About the role
The Sales Support Representative serves as administrative support to the sales and account management teams. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, proactive communication with customers and vendors, and alignment with company standards to maintain the overall health of customer accounts.
Responsibilities
- Supports the sales team in maintaining the overall health of accounts.
- Completes tasks delegated from sales management to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and customer communication meets company standards.
- Communicates proactively and professionally with customers and vendors.
- Facilitates internal processes to ensure projects are completed within production timeframes and meet customer expectations.
- Maintains basic knowledge of customer-specific standards.
- Collaborates with internal departments to support the sales delivery process.
- Aids in preparing reports and presentations for client meetings.
- Enters and updates sales order information in company systems.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Complies with all company standards as outlined in the employee handbook.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are necessary.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments is important.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems is beneficial.
- An attention to detail and commitment to quality are valued.
- Previous experience in a sales support or administrative role is preferred.
