The Sales Support Representative plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless execution of customer orders from entry through delivery. This position serves as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments, coordinating activities related to pricing, production, inventory, shipping, and transportation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the order fulfillment process, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
• Enter, process, and maintain sales orders accurately within company systems.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Customer Service, Inventory Control, Shipping, and Transportation teams to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
• Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates, delays, and shipment information to customers.
• Prepare and distribute daily outbound shipping reports, inventory reports, and other customer-specific reporting requirements.
• Generate monthly sales reports and provide data analysis as requested by management.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, order status, and shipment tracking.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Assist with account management activities and support ongoing customer relationship development.
• Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities that enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
• Perform additional administrative and sales support duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience supporting sales teams in a manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or retail environment.
• Experience with ERP, order management, or inventory management systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, filtering, sorting, and reporting.
• Knowledge of shipping, transportation, and supply chain processes.
