Responsibilities

  • Identify process improvements to reduce errors and minimize business risks.
  • Partner with Sales, Logistics, Planning, QA, Business Operations, HR, Accounting, and Culinary teams to streamline coordination processes.
  • Manage the process for setting up and maintaining pricing contracts.
  • Update, maintain, and review price lists based on established pricing structures in various customer platforms.
  • Maintain and manage Customer Classifications, Price Groups, Pricing/R&D Requests, and other Sales-related processes in CRM/ERP systems.
  • Monitor competitors' activities and recommend changes in product offerings or pricing to respond to competition.
  • Provide customer sales reports, sales forecasts, and budgets for assigned sales channels.
  • Prepare reports on sales KPIs and progress toward goals for sales account managers, including gathering data from customer records, ordering patterns, and/or marketing campaigns.
  • Generate ad hoc reports for management review as requested.
  • Attend assigned quarterly and yearly sales meetings.
  • Provide escalation support to the Sales Support team for issues requiring operational improvements from other teams.
  • Manage the team's schedule to ensure daily and weekly goals are met.
  • Ensure the team stays compliant with company policies and procedures.
  • Establish sales-related goals and quotas for team members, provide training in established SOPs, and regularly review team performance to identify trends and potential improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in a Sales Support role.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience managing a team of 5–10 people.
  • Knowledge of food services, food manufacturing industry, and best practices preferred.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ability to analyze goals, interpret needs, and support requests from multiple Sales teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work cross-functionally as needed.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Great organizational skills and comfort managing internal and external customer communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
  • Proficient knowledge of Office 365 apps, particularly Excel.
