About the role
This position is responsible for supporting and assisting our sales force and serves as an internal liaison for the field sales team. Work activities include providing detailed reporting, coordinating and administering sales activities (meetings, travel, conferences, and department activities), and managing interaction with the growing group of PBE influencers across social platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, etc.). Additional responsibilities include communicating customer and product information, processing commissions and pricing, customer setup, data synchronization, and coordinating programs in support of sales strategy implementation.
Responsibilities
- Must have advanced Excel & Power BI skills to create a variety of sales reports.
- Assists and participates in sales meetings.
- Provides information to the sales team upon request regarding product, customer and pricing information.
- Maintains records for all customer contracts and other pertinent information.
- Maintains pricing, including daily and annual updates of promotional and contract pricing in Trade Plus/Flintfox. Validates accuracy of pricing before and after entry into systems. Communicates new pricing to internal and external customers including resolving pricing issues. Sets up and processes Monthly Index Pricing program.
- Maintains customer master data; serves as key contact for new customer setup and account updates.
- Captures and manages customer order management code files, records and source documents; processes exception reports monthly; researches discrepancies and makes corrections.
- Serves as a collaborative resource and informal point of contact for team members seeking guidance on pricing, customer data, and system processes; demonstrates a constructive, solutions-oriented approach when supporting colleagues across the department.
- Partners cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Marketing teams to coordinate program execution, resolve issues, and ensure alignment on customer initiatives; builds and maintains positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Identifies opportunities to improve team workflows, data accuracy, and reporting processes; proactively proposes and helps implement process enhancements that increase department efficiency and scalability.
- Manages the social media influencer coordination program (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and emerging platforms), including tracking engagement, maintaining contact records, and supporting campaign logistics in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.
- Performs special projects as assigned.
Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related analytic field, plus a minimum of three years of sales support and reporting experience, including demonstrated ability to develop business-oriented recommendations from data analysis.
- Must be able to interface effectively with various levels of both internal and customer organizations.
- Effective analytical skills; ability to utilize data systems and to access, assess, interpret, and draw accurate conclusions from various data sources.
- Ability to develop action plans or make recommendations from analyses; effective fact-based reporting and presentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills; excellent problem-solving and issue resolution skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a strong focus in Excel and Power BI.
- Demonstrated ability to work constructively with colleagues across departments, share knowledge openly, and support team goals over individual priorities.
- Professional maturity, receptiveness to feedback, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate conflict professionally and maintain effective working relationships in a collaborative environment.
- Experience mentoring peers or onboarding new team members is a plus.
