Sales Support Coordinator

Role Overview

ABS Global, a Genus PLC Company, seeks a Sales Support Specialist to provide professional and courteous service to internal and external customers. The position is located in Deforest and offers a hybrid work option.

About the Role

The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for resolving customer concerns, placing product orders, and educating customers on products and promotions related to semen, supplies, and udder care. They must build and maintain an understanding of ABS business, products, and the AI industry through training and literature.

Responsibilities

• Provide requested products in an accurate and timely manner
• Educate customers on products and promotions
• Respond to customer inquiries by understanding, researching, and responding to inquiries
• Process requests for pricing and/or orders accurately and timely
• Follow up with customers as needed
• Think quickly and logically to ensure expedient responses to customer inquiries
• Enter information into multiple screens and programs while listening to customer inquiries
• Follow policy and procedure documents to provide customer services
• Build and maintain understanding of ABS business, products, and the AI industry through industry training and literature
• Improve quality service by recommending improved processes and identifying new product and service applications
• Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities and industry trends
• Work on special projects as assigned
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years’ experience in a customer service or sales-related role
• Agriculture experience with knowledge of dairy and/or beef
• Computer and systems knowledge and experience
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
