Responsibilities
- Generate high-volume recurring streams of new move-in revenue for assigned Brookdale communities experiencing non-exempt sales associate vacancies.
- Prioritize outperformance of budgeted sales goals and community revenue targets by efficiently performing all processes and tasks required to close sales.
- Represent the ideal Brookdale sales professional and promote a mission-driven sales culture.
- Apply insights from one community to optimize sales in subsequent assignments, traveling to communities within a specified geographic area (assignments vary in length and may change with little notice).
- Drive rapid occupancy growth and prioritize rate integrity by conducting high-quality daily phone and in-person sales calls that convert to move-ins.
- Maintain working knowledge of and manage all relevant sales-specific software programs and Customer Relationship Management systems to generate high move-in volume, including accurate data entry and periodic database cleanup.
- Communicate current product information (availability, pricing, concessions) to community associates daily and as needed, and attend daily stand-up meetings.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant competition in assigned markets.
- Provide accurate and timely move-in forecasts as requested.
- Communicate incoming residents’ needs and preferences to the Executive Director or appropriate associates to enhance customer satisfaction upon move-in.
- Foster a positive image of assigned communities and the Brookdale brand with all customers, residents, associates, and professional/volunteer influencers.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field and one to two years of experience. Additional years of related work experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis up to four years.
- Valid driver’s license and frequent car and/or air travel as needed for short-term strategic assignments within a specified geographic area.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of sales and marketing principles, including strategy, tactics, techniques, and control systems.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and state regulations impacting service delivery.
- Proficiency in operating smartphones, personal computers, and related software.
- Ability to manage time, tasks, and projects in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust, assess customer needs, and work effectively with diverse personalities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands/fingers to handle or feel.
- Reaching with hands and arms; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Ability to talk, hear, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Vision requirements for the role.
- Interaction with co-workers, residents, or vendors.
- Occasional weekend, evening, or night work to ensure shift coverage.
- Frequent travel required.

Base pay is determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Full-time associates are eligible for an annual bonus incentive. Temporary associates are not benefits-eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.
Brookdale offers to advance fees for naturalization (Form N-400) application costs, up to $725 (less applicable taxes and withholding), for qualified associates who have been with the company for at least a year.
