The Hermès Orlando Boutique opened in 2019 and focuses on providing extraordinary service to clients as part of the Southern Region. This position reports to the Assistant Manager and collaborates with the sales and selling support teams to enhance the client experience in a fast-paced, luxury environment.
About the Role
- Sales Objectives
- Accountable for meeting monthly and annual individual sales goals while contributing to the boutique’s collective target.
- Organize and prioritize the selling floor to support sales and client experience.
- Ensure all items (bags, boxes, note cards, ribbon, stationery, etc.) are stocked at all times.
- Maintain the selling floor to Hermès standards, including straightening, replenishing new receipts, following VM guidelines, EAS tagging, and ticketing.
- Assist with inventory preparation as needed.
- POS (Point of Sale)
- Process and ensure accuracy of all transactions, including receipts, CRM files (capturing purchase history, SKUs, payment details, and client verification), and after-sales service support.
- Partner with management on POS decisions and communicate discrepancies during opening, closing, or general variances by end of business day.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation at all times.
- Asset Protection
- Comply with all asset protection procedures, including employee sign-in sheets, bag checks, and key control guidelines.
- Follow merchandise security protocols, including proper EAS tagging and ticketing for floor, back-of-house, and returns.
- Prepare for physical inventory and participate in monthly cycle counts as directed by management.
- Customer Service
- Consistently provide high levels of service within Hermès standards: prompt and friendly greeting, assistance with questions, and wrapping/packaging at POS.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in sales; luxury environment preferred.
- Strong relationship development and impeccable communication skills.
- Even-tempered with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter who balances independence with team collaboration.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Open availability to accommodate business needs.
- Ability to lift 0–25 lbs. without assistance.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is $26.00 to $28.00 per hour. Actual rates are determined based on job, location, and individual experience.
