About the role
Works closely with Key Account Managers, Sales Representatives, Distributors, and Channel Partners to support the Grid Solutions portfolio for Power Utilities, Industrial customers, and the Energy sector.
Serves as the key liaison between the outside salesforce, customers, and internal Technical Product Support teams to ensure a smooth sales process and assist with effective resolution of customer inquiries or issues.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer support inquiries, direct communication, and follow-up on problem resolutions concerning bid offers, orders, reports, invoices, agreements, and contract requirements for assigned accounts and territories.
- Support business-winning strategies through customer-facing communication.
- Create, submit, follow up, and close out quotations.
- Verify order entry, pricing, lead time, and contractual requirements to avoid discrepancies.
- Facilitate and document modifications to orders, including changes to bill of material, drawings, pricing, and availability.
- Provide training and facilitate learning for peers.
- Manage workload for backup staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (or high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of direct experience in sales or customer support of a technical industrial or commercial manufactured product).
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience working closely with customers, providing customer service support, and responding to a wide variety of customer inquiries.
Skills
- Proficiency in a second language (Spanish, Portuguese, or French preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to interpret and decipher specifications and comprehend specific customer requirements.
- Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to handle and manage many concurrent customer orders and quotations.
- Experience in the Electrical Power Products and Utilities industries.
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse environment.

Pay
For candidates applying to a U.S.-based position, the pay range is $64,000.00 to $96,000.00, with a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas. Bonus eligibility includes a discretionary annual bonus.
