About the role

We are seeking a high-energy, client-focused Sales Specialist to support and accelerate growth for our wealth management firm. This role sits at the intersection of event-driven marketing, sales-support activities to help Advisors, and CRM-driven pipeline management. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and confident in engaging with prospects in live settings, while also being disciplined and analytical when managing follow-up and sales processes. This is a visible, impact-driven role with a clear path for growth. This is a non-advisory, non-licensed role focused on organic growth—not portfolio management.

Responsibilities

  • Educational & Marketing Seminars
    • Coordinate and execute educational and marketing seminars designed to attract qualified wealth management prospects
    • Partner with external marketing firms and internal stakeholders to drive targeted attendance, ensure message alignment and event readiness
    • Attend, co-host, or host events, serving as a front-line representative of the firm
    • Engage attendees before, during, and after events to build rapport and trust and secure follow‑up meetings and discovery appointments
    • Track event performance and outcomes (attendance, appointments set, conversion metrics) and provide insights and recommendations to improve the efficiency of business development initiatives
  • CRM & Sales Process Management
    • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the firm’s CRM (e.g., Salesforce or similar)
    • Navigate prospects through a defined sales and nurturing process, including lead qualification, follow‑up cadence, status tracking and handoffs to advisors
    • Leverage digital marketing tools and automation to support prospect engagement
    • Provide visibility into pipeline health, follow‑up activity, and conversion trends
  • Sales Support & Productivity Projects
    • Assist with sales initiatives that improve advisor productivity and prospect experience
    • Support development of sales materials, event workflows, and follow‑up processes
    • Collaborate with marketing, advisors, and leadership on special projects related to growth
    • Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and prospect experience
  • Success is measured by qualified attendance rate per event, number of follow‑up appointments scheduled from events, accuracy and completeness of CRM data, lead progression rates through defined sales stages, completion of assigned sales support projects on time and on scope, professional presence and relationship‑building effectiveness, and post‑event prospect feedback and engagement quality.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience in sales support, business development, client engagement, or marketing roles (financial services experience preferred but not required)
  • Comfortable interacting with high‑net‑worth or professional audiences
