Crossroads Equipment Lease & Finance, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Velocity Vehicle Group, is one of California’s largest commercial vehicle dealers. Established in 2006 and based in Rancho Cucamonga, California, Crossroads specializes in commercial medium and heavy-duty truck financing and leasing, offering operating and finance leasing as well as direct financing to commercial customers across all states.
About the role
The Sales Specialist is a professional-level position responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth through the sale of equipment leasing and financing solutions. This role exercises independent judgment and discretion in identifying customer needs, developing sales strategies, negotiating financing solutions, and managing the sales process from prospecting through closing. Success requires initiative, sound business judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to work independently while contributing to the overall success of the sales organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal business partners and customers to deliver exceptional service and support achievement of sales and business objectives.
- Manage customer relationships by identifying business needs, recommending equipment leasing and financing solutions, and identifying opportunities to expand products and services.
- Apply consultative sales methodologies, sound business judgment, and problem-solving skills to evaluate customer needs, develop customized financing solutions, negotiate within established guidelines, and close sales with integrity.
- Utilize CRM web-based applications and other business tools to manage sales activities, maintain customer information, monitor sales opportunities, and analyze performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or comparable degree in business or finance-related field, preferred.
- One to three years of professional sales, business development, financial services, customer relationship management, or related experience; internship experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, prioritize work independently, and make business decisions within established guidelines.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to remain flexible and responsive when faced with multiple urgent requests.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, confident, thorough, and tenacious with a desire for a growing career.
- Quick learner when facing new problems with a natural inclination to be relentless and versatile.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, time management, communication, and customer service.
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, automate workflows, and support operations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Some sales experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate with a relevant educational background.
- Must be able to work on-site in Nashville, TN.

$68,000–$72,000 annual salary
