About the role

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Recruiting team is seeking a talented, customer-focused recruiter to join our global recruiting organization supporting AWS. The focus of the role is on driving candidate generation strategies in partnership with your clients.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of candidate markets
  • Build and manage candidate sourcing and closing strategies
  • Manage and prioritize multiple searches, projects and client relationships
  • Create, measure and scale workflow among candidates, hiring managers and the recruiting team
  • Develop sourcing models and plans to generate technical and non-technical talent pools, create and execute robust search strategies that will attract the best and brightest talent
  • Calibrate job profiles with hiring managers
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine-tuning standard processes for recruiting
  • Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process
  • Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification
  • Participate in and/or own special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level openings

Requirements

We Are Looking For Recruiters That Will Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of candidate markets

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technical recruiting in high volume and high hiring bar environment experience
  • Experience building candidate sourcing and closing strategies
  • 3+ years of passive candidate generation experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships
  • 3+ years of working with CRM, ATS, or related applicant tracking software systems and analytics tools experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, InfoPath, SharePoint, etc.
