Sales Shift Lead

About the role

As a Sales Shift Lead, you'll help keep our dispensary running smoothly during your assigned shifts. You'll guide the sales team through busy days, ensure compliance with state and company regulations, and step in wherever needed to maintain efficient operations. From supporting team members to ensuring every customer leaves satisfied, you'll serve as both a leader and a hands-on contributor.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach team members, helping them grow into confident, knowledgeable sales professionals
• Monitor sales transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer service
• Lead by example by actively supporting the sales floor during peak hours
• Handle cash management responsibilities, returns, and register closings with precision
• Create and manage daily break schedules to ensure seamless shift coverage
• Delegate tasks, motivate your team, and foster a positive, accountable shift culture
• Ensure compliance with all state regulations and company policies

Requirements

• A strong multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment
• Detail-oriented, with solid organizational and problem-solving skills
• Experienced in cannabis retail leadership (1+ year preferred)
• Confident in guiding, training, and motivating team members
• Committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience every shift

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Must meet all state requirements for cannabis industry employment
