About the role
As a Sales Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic sales initiatives in your assigned sales region, collaborating closely with the Sales Team. You will execute the SmartStock program, ensure compliance with company policies, provide merchandising and sales support, build strong customer relationships, and assist the Sales Team in addressing customer needs and concerns. Your professionalism and business execution drive business forward for customers, vendors, and Core-Mark.

Responsibilities
- Maintaining a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
- Maintenance and execution of the SmartStock program (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, and merchandising activities).
- Identifying and reducing out-of-stock on shelves.
- Ensuring products are fresh and within date code parameters.
- Attending to customer needs and concerns promptly.
- Ensuring plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores.
- Identifying display opportunities and maximizing display positioning.
- Ensuring that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
- Finding solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance.
- Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.
