About the Role
As a Sales Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic sales initiatives in your assigned sales region, collaborating closely with the Sales Representatives in that area. Your responsibilities will encompass tasks focused on executing our company programs and initiatives, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing merchandising and sales support. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with new and existing customers in the sales region, supporting Sales Representatives in addressing their needs and concerns. Your professionalism and business execution are critical contributions to driving business forward for our customers, vendors, and ourselves.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
- Maintenance and execution of our company programs and initiatives (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, and merchandising activities).
- Attending to customer needs and concerns promptly via phone and/or email.
- Finding solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance.
- Identifying and reducing out-of-stocks on shelves.
- Ensuring products are fresh and within date code parameters.
- Ensuring plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores.
- Identifying display opportunities and maximizing display positioning.
- Ensuring that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
- Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- 1-2 years of working experience in a customer service, merchandising, or sales position.
- Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation (mileage and gasoline reimbursement provided).
- Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
- Must be exceptionally organized and able to multi-task.
- Ability to travel as needed (minimum travel required).
- Must be analytical and computer literate.
- Must have great communication skills.
Skills
- Strong ability to manage a high volume of customer calls and emails with professionalism and efficiency.
- Proven customer service skills, with a focus on problem-solving and building lasting relationships.
- Comfortable using business applications and computer systems to manage orders, data, and customer records.
- Detail-oriented in supporting sales programs and initiatives while ensuring accuracy.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner effectively with the sales team to drive customer satisfaction and growth.

Pay
$25 - $30/hr (depends on experience)
