Sales Service Rep

Position Summary

As a Sales Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic sales initiatives, collaborating closely with the Sales and Merchandising Teams in our area. Your responsibilities will encompass program execution, merchandising and sales support, and building strong relationships with customers in the division. Professionalism and business execution are critical to driving business forward for our customers, vendors, and ourselves.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising support across all customer channels within the division.
• Maintenance and execution of the SmartStock program (racks, plan‑ograms, ordering, and merchandising activities).
• Open territory coverage (vacations, sick days, etc.).
• Identifying and reducing out‑of‑stocks on shelves.
• Ensuring products are fresh and within date‑code parameters.
• Attending to customer needs and concerns promptly.
• Ensuring plan‑ogram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores.
• Identifying display opportunities and maximizing display positioning.
• Ensuring that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
• Finding solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance.
• Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.
• Responding promptly and professionally to customer needs and concerns.
• Acting as a reliable point of contact when supporting assigned accounts.
• Troubleshooting and resolving in‑store challenges with support from the Sales Team.
• Reinforcing sales priorities in‑store, including distribution goals, promotional execution, and display compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• 1–2 years of experience in a customer service, merchandising, or sales position.
• Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation (mileage and gasoline reimbursement provided).
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper insurance.

Pay

$20.00 – $24.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. Minimal overnights with the exception of Expo.
