Sales Route Driver

Bernatello’s Foods is a premium manufacturer and distributor of high-quality frozen pizza brands with production facilities in Maple Lake, MN and Kaukauna, WI.

About the role

Full-time position with a base salary of $60,000 annually plus commission. Includes one overnight on Monday for this route.

Responsibilities

• Sell, deliver, and service customers to increase annual sales.
• Follow procedural inventory guidelines to maintain accurate inventory in truck and depot.
• Maintain proper warehouse inventory levels to ensure fresh product and limit out-of-stocks.
• Plan, pick, and load truck accurately and efficiently for next day’s deliveries.
• Adhere to start-of-day times outlined by the District Manager to meet receiving times and complete deliveries.
• Represent the company positively when dealing with receivers, managers, owners, and customers.
• Merchandise accounts with 100% execution of "Pizza 101".
• Accurately invoice all customers and complete daily paperwork as required.
• Adhere to Fleet Loss Policy and maintain 100% D.O.T. compliance (pre-trip inspection, log book, post-trip, etc.).
• Complete sales, delivery, and merchandising functions at accounts as defined by the District Manager.
• Maintain organizational skills, cleanliness, and accuracy; keep truck, warehouse, and back room freezer organized and clean.
• Defrost truck regularly as defined by the District Manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• Must maintain a valid CDL with air brake certification.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work individually and as a member of a team.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Must be able to lift 20-50 lbs.
