Responsibilities

  • Gather current coverage information from prospects and evaluate and analyze data and prepare comprehensive risk evaluations to include product and service requirements.
  • Review and interpret carrier contract language to deliver optimal client coverage recommendations while ensuring regulatory requirements are met and internal policies procedures are followed.
  • Work with Business Development Executives (BDEs) and Client Advisors (CAs) as appropriate to grow and expand referral sources.
  • Generate referrals from your COIs.
  • Meet new business development goals and forecast.
  • Incorporate and regularly practice techniques introduced through Sales Training to continuously enhance skills and related performance.
  • Negotiate with primarily multiple HNW insurance carriers to provide comprehensive coverage options outlined in proposals, while conforming to laws, regulations and requirements governing the insurance industry.
  • Use Salesforce to complete funnel and other internal information tracking reports as required.
  • Use the EPIC Agency Management System in an accurate and timely manner to enter and maintain all account information.
  • Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and there is compliance with all internal policies and procedures.
  • Review and interpret carrier contract language to deliver optimal client coverage recommendations.

Requirements

  • 4 years of directly related business development/client service experience.
  • Successful Sales and Risk Consultant experience with high-net-worth clients essential.
  • P&C licensed and HNW personal lines insurance experience necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and EPIC Agency Management System.

Pay

The applicable base salary range for this role is $67,500 to $125,800. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
