About the role
This role is available in the SouthWest United States, specifically California. We are seeking a driven Sales Representative to join our expanding team.
Responsibilities
- Hunt and Close: Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities through various methods.
- Grow Key Accounts: Nurture and expand relationships with existing customers by delivering tailored solutions that build trust.
- Showcase Our Value: Present products and solutions confidently, demonstrating features, benefits, and ROI in a compelling manner.
- Owning the Sales Cycle: Manage every step of the sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure.
- Hit the Numbers: Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the company's growth goals.
- Stay Sharp: Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform your sales strategy.
- Deliver Excellence: Provide outstanding support before, during, and after the sale, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, customer service, and product teams to align goals and enhance the customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Marketing, or a related field, but a strong sales record is highly valued.
- Meat processing experience is a plus.
- 1–3+ years of experience in B2B sales or a related field, with a background in the food or ingredient industry preferred.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- A self-starter mindset with strong organizational and time management abilities.
