Sales Representative, Panels Midwest Region
About the role
The Midwest Regional Panel Sales Representative is responsible for analyzing and forecasting sales revenues and inventory usage rates. This person conducts daily sales activities for assigned accounts including market and sales trends analysis, drafting contributions to sales revenue and budget reports, analyzing likely customer targets based on market research, negotiating sales terms with customers, drafting purchase orders and terms, monitoring the order-to-delivery process, and communicating with customers about products, preferences, satisfaction, and outstanding accounts.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing and forecasting sales revenues and inventory usage rates
- Conducting daily sales activities for assigned accounts including market and sales trends analysis
- Drafting contributions to sales revenue and budget reports
- Analyzing likely customer targets based on market research
- Negotiating sales terms with customers
- Drafting purchase orders and terms
- Monitoring the order-to-delivery process
- Communicating with customers about products, preferences, satisfaction, and outstanding accounts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business (foreign equivalent accepted); or equivalent experience
- Must have at least two to three years in a sales position or equivalent experience in operations
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication / presentation skills
- Must have excellent customer relations skills including customer response, service improvement, and the ability and willingness to keep commitments
- Must display original thinking and creativity through resourcefulness, suggestions, and problem solving
- Must have excellent math skills including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages as well as to create and interpret graph and chart information
