About the role
The Musco Operational Sales Team is seeking a Sales Representative based in New Mexico. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields, 3+ years of sales experience, and a passion for selling and building relationships.
Responsibilities
- Develop strong communication networks and relationships with key contractors, specifiers, and end-users
- Affirm customer's lighting needs and determine Musco products and services that best suit their needs
- Present Musco's product and services effectively in various situations using available tools (sales presentations, meetings, field visits, and trade shows)
- Create budget estimates for customers' lighting needs using pricing tools
- Identify and define key relationships and decision-makers to maximize Musco's position on projects
- Negotiate prices and agreements, including credit terms and collection
- Participate in field work such as measuring/assessing fields, confirming pole locations, assisting at installations, conducting night light tests, troubleshooting, and performing warranty inspections
- Maintain accurate and updated project information and documentation in the sales database
- Communicate regularly with the Regional Sales Coordinator to address needs and concerns within the territory and allocate resources
- Participate in corporate meetings and conference calls as necessary
- Make new business development calls to both new and existing customers
Qualifications
- Electrical experience and familiarity with Musco solutions are preferred
- Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn and educate others

Schedule
Significant travel, including evenings and overnight stays, and working outside of normal business hours may be required.
Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
