About the Role
We are seeking a committed professional to join our Neuromodulation Operating Unit as a Sales Representative I, Interventional Therapies. This is a remote position, but the candidate must reside within the territory and be willing to drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Medtronic's Interventional products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders, including physicians.
- Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's Interventional products and/or services.
- Organize meetings with physicians and other key opinion leaders to increase awareness of Medtronic's Interventional solutions.
- Promote and establish education of the company's products and/or services.
- Conduct and/or evaluate market research, including customers and competitors' activities.
- Develop and/or implement market development plans/strategies and make changes as needed.
- Assess customer needs and feedback regarding new products and/or modifications to existing products and communicate this to internal stakeholders, including R&D, Operations, and Marketing.
Qualifications - Must Have
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 8+ years of experience
- OR Associate’s Degree AND 6+ years of experience
- OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years of experience
- Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
Qualifications - Nice to Have
- Ortho, spine, or O.R. experience
- Ability to sell in an environment where partnering with a surgeon is critical and ability to sell a new device or procedure
- Proven leadership abilities and experience in selling value-added programs
- Fully knowledgeable about the anatomy and capable of effectively explaining after the completion of sales training
- Thrives in an environment of variety and rapid growth & change
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Accustomed to working independently with a high degree of accountability
Additional Job Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy
- Must be able to travel
- Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds
Pay
Salary ranges for U.S. (excl. PR) locations (USD): $45,000.00 – $45,000.00. This position is also eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP).
