Responsibilities
- Introduces new items, quotes prices, credit terms, delivery dates, and prepares sales contracts and sales reports.
- Represents, merchandises, and sells desired mix of products in retail stores within identified accounts.
- Prepares sales presentations, contracts, and proposals for specific merchandising and store shelving activities.
- Manages trade funding for identified accounts for in-store merchandising, advertising, and implements category management initiatives.
- Delivers assigned sales and margin targets, communicates all customer and brand pricing notifications, executes assortment, pricing, and promotion plans, and ensures new product authorizations and core extensions are positioned on retail shelves with appropriate timing, space, facings, and targeted locations.
- Provides excellent customer service, prepares information/project tracking reports in a timely manner as required by the company, and communicates regularly and effectively to inform supervisors of marketplace activities, issues, and opportunities.
- Accounts for partial to full accountability for one or more accounts, works with direct guidance from managers on business planning and customer strategy, and executes business strategies and tactics as directed.
- Might have a role in developing strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- One year of related experience.
- Preferred CPG experience.
- Sales planning and sales execution experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to interpret and use multiple information sources to develop customer-specific tactical plans and options.
- Effective communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Initiative and perseverance.
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Clear leadership potential.

Pay
A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role is $78,550.00 - $117,820.00.
