Responsibilities
- Act as a primary point of contact for full account base within a defined territory
- Meet or exceed sales goals within assigned territory
- Solicit new business in on/off premise retail accounts
- Grow business within existing on/off premise retail accounts
- Create, organize, and execute dinners, promotions, tastings, trainings, and other events within territory
- Willingness to assist in events and festivals as needed, outside of assigned territory
- Represent and positively convey brand
- Sales tracking, reporting, and coordination
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the NYC craft beverage industry, its retailers, and consumers
- Excellent communication skills and ability to create and maintain relationships
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent team player
- Excellent self-starter
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends as needed
- 2 years of outside beer sales (preferred)
- Compliance to industry best practices and alcoholic beverage regulations
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform the requirements of a physically active sales position
- 21+ with valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Pay
Fixed base salary plus performance-based commission and/or bonus. Salary commensurate with experience.
