Sales Representative - Entry Level - No Experience Needed!
About the role
Farmers Insurance District 61 is seeking high-performing sales professionals interested in a structured path towards a successful career within the insurance industry. This role is best for someone who is motivated by sales goals and performance metrics, wants income stability with commission upside, is coachable and open to feedback, works well in a structured environment, and enjoys phone-based and relationship-driven sales.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on insurance coverage options, including auto, home, life, business, and other specialty lines.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to generate new business opportunities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients to assess their insurance needs.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients, policy changes, claims, and other customer inquiries promptly and accurately.
- Stay updated on insurance industry trends, products, and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and agency goals.
- Participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Requirements
- No prior insurance experience required. Some of our most successful candidates have come from alternate backgrounds like high level high school and college athletes, restaurants, hospitality, insurance, mortgage, real estate, B2B, retail leadership, etc.
- Must be able to obtain a Property & Casualty license prior to starting. Licensure study materials are paid for by Farmers District 61.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications
- Current Property & Casualty plus Life, Health and Annuities license or willing to obtain with district office support.
- Free licensing support available.

Pay
Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
Annual Base Salary + Commission + Bonus Opportunities
