Sales Representative DSD Relief Driver

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Delivery and distribution of all products on an assigned route, within prescribed timelines.
• Provide high service levels to all accounts on DSD relief routes being covered, consistently meeting or exceeding customers' expectations.
• Deliver, merchandise, and unload all orders; check product quantities for accuracy.
• Load trucks daily and keep inventory of the product that is carried on truck.
• Neatly restock stores and properly rotate product to avoid any "outdated product."
• Handle daily monetary transactions and turn in all paperwork daily.
• Make invoices using the company's handheld computer, requiring basic computer skills.
• Drive new business in all La Vaquita markets via cold calls and presentations to customers not stocking La Vaquita products.
• Effectively communicate new customer information so they can be routed and set up in the system.
• Assist drivers in all La Vaquita markets as needed and execute retailer initiatives, such as resets, working in new items, etc.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of experience in the direct store delivery channel preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English and Spanish, clearly understanding all job requirements and safety regulations.
• Basic computer skills, including ability to use computer ordering equipment.
• Certification and/or License - Valid state driver’s license.
• Valid Texas Class C license, with a minimum of 3 years' driving experience. Clean driving record, with no moving violations over the past 3 years.
• No major driving convictions including DUI/DWI, reckless driving or at-fault fatal accident.
• Able to be 21 years of age or older.
