Sales Responsibilities

  • Be directly responsible for selling vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Cook up and maintain new and used sales quotas with the sales manager.
  • Meet profit margin goals for vehicle sales.
  • Be polite and friendly, greet customers promptly, consistently follow the outlined sales process, utilize floor time effectively, determine each customer’s vehicle needs, demonstrate and test drive vehicles, verify customer qualifications, maintain current knowledge and familiarity with new products, features, accessories, and their benefits, and maintain an owner follow-up system.
  • Deliver vehicles to customers after purchase, ensuring they understand the vehicle’s operating features, warranty, and paperwork, and fostering customer loyalty.
  • Conduct telephone transactions courteously and promptly, utilize a consistent quotation process for purchases, trade-ins, and vehicle sales, and deal with customer complaints in a sensible manner by showing empathy and maintaining a pleasant attitude.

Training and Meetings

  • Attend pertinent training and stay current with sales department concerns and sales techniques.
  • Attend sales meetings.
