About the Role
We are seeking a proactive, results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at RCI which is based in Lake Villa, Illinois – conveniently situated between Chicago and Milwaukee – we proudly serve customers within a 60-mile+ radius throughout northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Serve customers by promoting and selling insulation products and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Plan and organize daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned markets.
- Prepare and present proposals, bids, and quotations tailored to customer requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and bid tracking.
- Keep management informed through regular updates and activity reports.
- May be responsible for managing certain projects from planning through completion, ensuring proper scheduling, budgeting, resource coordination, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first attitude.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales experience in insulation, building products, or commercial construction.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
