About the role

The Sales “Partnership Development” Representative at Redline Plastics is responsible for generating leads, building strong client relationships, and identifying opportunities to grow revenue. This role involves negotiating contracts, reporting results, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Serves clients by partnering on products, assortments, and meeting their daily needs.
  • Establishes new client accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to leverage the company's internal CRM database, potential sales outlets, leveraging AI and other virtual trade factors.
  • Adjusts content of partnership presentations by studying the type of sales outlet and trade factor.
  • Focuses partnering efforts by studying, engaging, and developing potential clients.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analyses.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on engagement, opportunities, and client responses.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Spending time traveling to client locations. Travel could be up to 50%.

Qualifications

  • Education: A BA or BS degree with a concentration on marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred.
  • Experience and/or Training: Three to five years of plastics molding industry sales experience, including rotational molding, vacuum forming, and compression molding, is preferred.
  • Licenses/Certificates: No specific requirements.
  • Technology/Equipment: Demonstrated knowledge in the use of current technology, CRM systems, Microsoft Office products, and other manufacturing software.
  • Communication: The ability to read, speak, and comprehend English is required.

Physical and Mental Demands

  • The main working environment is a standard office setting with some exposure to a plant environment.
  • The plant environments may not be climate-controlled and may include exposure to heat, cold, noise, and odors.
  • Personal protective equipment is required in appropriate areas.
  • The sales representative will spend a considerable amount of time traveling, which may involve automotive transportation or flying.
  • Also, considerable time may be spent in hotel environments away from home.
