About The Job
We are looking for a Sales Representative to manage assigned client accounts. You will contact prospects and address customer concerns. You will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of key customer accounts. You will define the scope of the project, work directly with each department to ensure timeframes and accuracy is being achieved. You will communicate directly with the customer throughout the life of the project. Your goal will be to foster long-term relationships with clients and help grow our business.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Be the main point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Negotiate contracts and handle paperwork (e.g. invoices, orders).
- Respond promptly to customer queries and complaints to find solutions and defuse tension.
- Follow up regularly after closing a sale to ensure client satisfaction.
- Present new or additional products and services to existing customers.
- Report on sales activity, accounts status and possible issues.
- Request surveys.
- Request and review estimates.
- Request and review brand books.
- Submit estimates and brand books to customer for approvals.
- Request, obtain, and track deposits.
- Coordinate others to hit the desired goal by the desired date.
- Organizing, motivating, and providing direction to a group of people to achieve a common goal.
- Effectively plan and develop long-range strategies that successfully accomplish objectives.
- Review post audit job to ensure scope of work meets brand specifications, customer expectations, and permitting allowances/city requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service with very clear communication.
- Updating internal and external teams on a weekly basis.
Requirements
- Experience in customer service is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking ability.
- Assertiveness and confidence.
- Goal-driven with ability to work under pressure.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma; BSc/BA in business is a plus.
- Comfortable and effective with issues that lack clarity, structure or certainty.
- Detail oriented with the ability to work well and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Able to multi-task and follow-through while being approachable, flexible and friendly, but assertive.
- Able to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions and change course of action quickly when deemed necessary.
- Must be physically fit and capable to perform office type work.
Company Behavior Conduct Expectations
- Standard shift schedule from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
- Occasional shift changes may be required to meet company needs/customer demands.
- Two (2) ten-minute breaks, and (1) 30-minute lunch, per (8) eight-hour workday.
- If you know you will be late, you must call before 8:30am, and communicate with your supervisor.
- To report an unscheduled absence: Call your supervisor as soon as possible, preferably no later than 9:30pm the day before or 7:00am - 8:30am the day of.
- The day of your absence, it is your responsibility to call your Supervisor by 1:00pm to report if you are able to work the next day.
- No drinking or drugs allowed while employed with Promotion Plus Sign Co.
- No smoking unless during a break or lunch and must be in a designated area.
- Responsible for providing a good image and maintaining our reputation while representing Promotion Plus Sign Co. Inc.
