Sales Representative

Responsibilities

  • Convert inbound leads into new Lawn Doctor customers
  • Build relationships with existing customers and recommend additional lawn care services
  • Educate homeowners on fertilization, weed control, aeration, seeding, mosquito control, and other treatment options
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations focused on customer needs and property improvement
  • Perform proactive customer follow-up to improve retention and satisfaction
  • Generate referrals and identify opportunities to grow territory revenue
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity
  • Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Comfortable speaking with customers in person and over the phone
  • Ability to build rapport and close sales through relationship-based selling
  • Basic computer and CRM software skills preferred

Qualifications

  • Experience in lawn care or landscaping sales
  • Outside sales or territory sales experience
  • Home services sales experience
  • Customer retention and account management experience
  • Pest control or outdoor services experience
  • Residential service industries experience
  • Lead generation and sales follow-up experience
  • Route sales or field sales experience
