About the role
As a Sales Representative, you are accountable for engaging with existing and prospective customers, promoting products and services, and generating sales revenue in a designated territory. We are a people business at our core, treating both customers and associates with respect, and focus on sustainable growth from the bottom up.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers to understand their business needs and identify areas of opportunity.
- Cold call and prospect potential customers in the territory to grow a book of business.
- Plan your week in advance to prioritize customer stops and territory growth.
- Demonstrate products to potential customers, highlighting value and quality (80% of our products are American-made).
- Meet or exceed sales quotas by following our company's proven sales programs and processes learned in training workshops.
- Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities by inputting information into our systems.
- Report back to customers on cost-savings achieved through supporting and servicing them in the field.
Requirements
- Ability to travel to customer and associate locations and company meetings within the assigned geographic area while maintaining required insurance coverage minimums.
- Use of a personal electronic device compliant with the company's Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) policy.
- Execution of an Employment Agreement and/or revised Employment Agreement exhibit(s), provided for review prior to execution.
Pay
Uncapped commission earnings with 1st year compensation plans ranging from $55,000 to $95,000.
