Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining accounts within assigned territory.
- Utilize market trends to identify popular products and anticipate the needs of our accounts to provide exceptional customer service.
- Communicate effectively with accounts to identify needs/opportunities to increase sales.
- Fulfill all order requests, and communicate to necessary team members.
- Attend training/tasting sessions specifically for specialty food items (seasonal cheese/EVOO/breads etc.).
- Monitor the delivery of products to accounts under your supervision to troubleshoot any issues including but not limited to out-of-stock items, damaged items, or special-order items.
- Openly communicate with the AR team to ensure timely payment.
Qualifications
- Executive Chef Experience or Specialty Food/Beverage Sales Experience
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage products is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop creative solutions to customer service issues.
- Able to maintain an even temper when assisting clients.
- Able to multitask and follow up, both internally with departments and externally with customers.
