Job Description
Build your Charlotte territory by prospecting for new business and conducting face-to-face customer visits.
Spend most of your time in the field identifying opportunities, meeting with customers, and closing deals.
Conduct on-site needs assessments, product demonstrations, and consultative sales presentations.
Develop new accounts while expanding business with existing customers in your territory.
Drive personal vehicle to customer locations throughout the Charlotte area (mileage reimbursement provided – valid driver's license and current vehicle registration required).
Travel for customer visits, trade shows, and training events (local/regional travel 15-30% of time).
Qualifications
- 0-3 years of Sales or Customer Service experience.
- Knowledge of the Sales Cycle.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Ability to take direction and make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
- Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas to respond to customers’ needs, wants, and concerns.
- Ability to demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and commitment to customers.
