About the role
As a Champion Sales Representative, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional in-home sales experience by building trust, educating customers, and providing tailored home improvement solutions. This role requires self-motivation, professionalism, and a consistent drive for excellence in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional in-home sales experience by building trust and educating customers on Champion products and services.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate home improvement solutions.
- Evaluate, measure, and specify project details and options.
- Build and present detailed proposals using a consultative, solution-based approach.
- Negotiate and close sales while maintaining integrity and alignment with Champion’s sales standards.
- Accurately complete and submit project documentation, contracts, and payment information in a timely manner.
- Attend daily sales and training meetings to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
- Support customer interactions at the Champion showroom and participate in local home and garden shows as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug screen, credit check, and criminal background check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and earn customer trust.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-up abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency and solid telephone etiquette.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and comfortably perform in-home demonstrations.
- Basic math skills, including accurate measurement using a tape measure.
- Prior in-home or direct-to-consumer sales experience preferred.
