Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth through effective account management and business development strategies.
  • Engage with Dealers using direct sales techniques to expand market presence.
  • Schedule and attend weekly meetings with Dock Rite, including setting up appointments with current dealers.
  • Add new dealers in Minnesota, ensuring a clear understanding of all Dock Rite products.
  • Learn and understand all product lines to write quotes effectively.
  • Contribute to the development of new products, providing ideas, feedback, and opinions.
  • Assist with dealer programs, including pricing and sales for preseason and throughout the year.
  • Oversee setup and representation at trade shows and special events, handling time-sensitive product deliveries and customer service.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of retail sales and direct sales techniques.
  • Knowledge of Lakeshore Equipment is a plus.
  • Clear understanding of all Dock Rite products.
  • Ability to learn and understand new product lines quickly.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
